Principal's Message
“Education is the key to success in life, and teachers make a lasting impact in the lives of their students.” – Solomon OrzMadison
It is rightly said that “The whole purpose of education is the integral development of a person”.
We, at St. Joseph’s English Medium School, Gajwel, believe that this is a fundamental truth. It has always been the endeavor of the school to instill the right values in its students so that they develop a holistic personality and are ready to take on challenges head-on once they step out of the school gates.
The motto of our school is “Love, Joy, and Service”
A school plays a crucial role in shaping a child’s future. Not only does this include the provision of education and ensuring learning, but also molding the character, morals, and value system of the child. A school provides the foundation needed to view the world as a limitless space offering innumerable opportunities to shine. During the pandemic, we shifted towards soft technology, online webinars, and virtual classrooms. There was an unimaginable collaboration among all stakeholders in the field of education, including administration, teachers, students, and parents, for the transfer of knowledge in innovative ways.
Our staff fruitfully employs two diverse strategies: Love and Logic, to foster a positive learning environment for all our students. Love and Logic may seem like two contrasting forces. While love helps nurture trusting relationships, where students feel respected, appreciated, and loved by the teachers, logic helps develop in students personal responsibility, self-control, good decision-making skills, self-confidence, and character building with high moral values. We emanate and sprinkle an atmosphere where each child receives love, dignity, and acceptance. The trust here is to blend thoroughly the modern and traditional approach, which is conducive for learners. Children here learn through exploration and experimentation with curricular activities; the students gain optimum exposure and acquire confidence. We are focused on achieving our aim by providing exemplary infrastructure to work upon a child’s physical, mental, and artistic faculties.”
